Last year in music was dominated by outside influences. Some of these tracks came from discovering new music thanks to my girlfriend. Some came from some hip-hop dives. Every year, some album steals my heart. boygenius stole my heart last year. Their album, “the record”, delighted my indie rock sentiments. I chose to open and close this mixlist with some seminal tracks from Barbenheimer: “Can You Hear The Music” and “What Was I Made For?”.
