This was the year of live music discoveries. I got to hear Chappell Roan, Noah Kahan and Charlieboy in concert this year. The first two were known to me already, but the live experiences cemented my appreciation for their music. Charlieboy was an unexpected discovery in downtown Sioux Falls. There’s some great indie rock in here, some fantastic hip-hop (Kendrick had quite the year) and a banger of a theme song to the new Deadpool movie.
